3 INP in France federate "Grandes écoles d'ingénieurs" in Grenoble, Nancy and Toulouse that is to say 19 engineer schools and 75 research laboratories ; these public engineer schools award the "national diploma of engineer" accredited by the French Ministery of Education. INP Toulouse gathers ENSAT, ENSEEIHT (N7) and ENSIACET (A7) and a linked engineer school, ENIT in Tarbes.  Research is concentrated on 15 laboratories in relation with CNRS (Frenc National Center for Scientific Research), INRA (National Institute for Agricultural  Research) and other universities in Toulouse.
